There are definitely little pockets that are more diverse, but Louisiana as a whole is very conservative. I would love if as Prairieville continues to grow, the people became more accepting of others. However, Prairieville is a lot better than surrounding areas in terms of safety, family, and overall atmosphere in my opinion.

I feel that Prairieville is a very suburb outside of Baton rouge. Many people are starting families and new neighborhood's are on the rise everywhere. A very great place to start a family.

I like how there are enough things to do, but it is not a big city. The area is pretty, and there is not a lot of trash on the ground. At times, traffic can be difficult. There are plenty of shops and food places in the area.

I love my hometown. It gives you the feel of a small town with everything you would want in a big city.

I love it here. The people are kind and there are tons of local and chain businesses. The pubic schools in Ascension parish are top tier and some of the best in the state. My one complaint is that the city is growing, but the local and state governments don't seem to have a plan. They just keep building housing developments without planning for water drainage or traffic.

Prairieville needs more transportation and more programs for its community. There are a lot of poor people and filthy rich people, and that's not good

My home is technically within Prairieville, however my life had been centered mostly around Geismar (though that wasn’t an option). A lot of my childhood has been spent in the Dutchtown school’s, and despite the amount of times I’ve moved I have enrolled in the primary, middle, and high school. Though I am not the most sociable person I am often able to find people related to me or know people related to me. It gives me a sense of there is family everywhere. Overall, it is comforting and what I consider home no matter where I move to.

Prairieville is a small. ilove this place so much.quiet town. Everyone is relatively nice. Violence and crimes is rare out here. The schools are high quality. The only bad thing I can really say is that it's too quiet sometimes!

Prairieville is an ever-growing city with several nearby schools and day cares for your kids. Honestly, since Prairieville is constantly growing, we have reached the point that there are more residents than there is space. That means there is a strong job market but overcrowded schools and trust me there are not enough roads to encompass that many individuals. So if you don't mind occasional traffic jams, expensive homes, and crowded schools then this is the place for you.

Prairieville is a small rural, quiet area where new developments are being built. Ascension Parish district is considered to be a top rank locally due to high grade point average from each school. New roads and new neighborhoods are being built for more people to live in this area which can be a wonderful place to live and children to attend the schools. This area is not known a lot like the city Baton Rouge which is why it is set apart from the stressful traffic and noisy places cities are widely known to be. I personally grew up here all my life and I have seen this area slowly grow and become more populated with people. You will see a lot of people drive through this area because it has a lot to offer to them. There are a lot of nearby food stores, and gas stations being built near each common entrances in Prairieville. This area is calm, pretty section of Louisiana where you will see more nature like things native here. You will not live close to each other nor have complains.

I have lived here all of my life, so far it has been a safe place to live, it is near major cities, but also a good distant from anything that could be harmful. It has many schools near by for K-12 Students.

Prairieville is starting to improve the schools and roads. All the high schools are starting to be remodeled to be as good as one another. The town helps out little business when the business is having a hardship. The town keeps building subdivisions on top of subdivision. There is not enough work in ascension parish for all the people that are coming to live in these subdivisions. The road work is finally being made a priority but is taking years. The parish needs to find a faster way to repair the roads.

I like the schools and the community everybody is like a family. The community is very accepting they have a lot of diversity. The only bad things is everything is in baton rouge so if you wanted to do something fun and with your kids you would have to go all they way to baton rouge. The schools are the best school to go to they are very caring and have the best teachers. There are a lot of job opportunities they are new business opening up everyday.

Prairieville is very friendly, there are many hard working families that reside there as well. Ascension Parish is the best public school District in Louisiana for students to thrive in.

Love the location in between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, good school system and family
Friendly. Fairly safe and very quiet neighborhoods. Easy access to shopping and medical care. Fairly affordable housing in today’s market and a wide variety of housing options.

Prairieville is an up and coming suburb of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The schools are phenomenal with great academics and are the top in the state. Over the past few years, Prairieville has developed very fast, with many new restaurants and places to shop. Living there my entire life, I have never felt unsafe. Overall, Prairieville is a great town with many opportunities and is family-oriented. I love it!!!
